Election Day Freebies and Deals That Definitely Get Our Vote

There's a lot of division in the country right now, but I think there's one thing we can all agree on: Election Day can't come soon enough. And now there's yet another reason to look forward to Tuesday, November 3rd - several retailers around the country are offering special voting day deals and freebies to celebrate the exercise of one of our most important Constitutional rights as American citizens.

From free Krispy Kreme donuts to free food and discounted rides to the polls from Uber, these deals and freebies certainly get our vote this year!

Krispy Kreme. FREE Original Glazed® Krispy Kreme Doughnut for everyone who visits a U.S. shop on Election Day. Krispy Kreme will also have "I Voted" stickers available for guests (while supplies last), which have been more difficult for voters to get this year due to the increase in mail-in voting. 

Grub Hub. Lines at the polls have never been longer and Grub Hub wants to make sure devoted Americans waiting it out to cast their all-important vote don't go hungry in the process (or lose their place in line!). Grub Hub is partnering with some major national food retailers to help bring relief to grumbling tummies at polling locations across the country with these awesome deals on November 3rd:

• California Pizza Kitchen: $10 off orders over $30

Lyft. Use code 2020VOTE on November 3rd from 4 a.m. - 11 p.m. local time to get 50% off (up to $10) one Lyft car ride (Lux excluded), Lyft scooter ride, or Lyft-operated bikeshare ride to a polling location anywhere in the U.S., including registered dropbox locations if you are in an exclusively vote-by-mail state.

Uber. Uber's food delivery operation, Uber Eats, is working with Pizza to the Polls to deploy over 250 food trucks to deliver free food to hungry voters at polling locations across the country starting October 24 through Election Day. Need a lift to the polls? Uber has you covered there too. Their cool new in-app poll-finding feature will help you locate your correct voting location and they will get you there round-trip for 50% off (up to $7 for each trip or $14 for the two trips).

Natural Grocers. The nation's largest family-operated natural and organic grocery retailer is celebrating the conclusion of the election with a special post-election promo from November 5-7. Members of their {N}power free loyalty program will receive a FREE chocolate bar of their favorite flavor (while supplies last) from these popular brands: Alter Eco, Natural Grocers Brand, Chocolove, Endangered Species, or Theo Chocolate; customers can also enter to win prizes by filling out a sweepstakes form at their local store.

All-Purpose Pizzeria (Washington, D.C.). Starting October 29th through election night, get any $20 pizza and add a 16oz can of DC Brau's VOTE Kristalweizen for only 20 cents more!

Atlas Brew Works' Half Street Brewery & Tap Room (Washington, D.C.). Show your "I Voted" sticker on Election Day to receive a complimentary 5 or 7oz taster of a select beer.

Busboys and Poets (7 D.C. Area Locations). Free Cervantes coffee until 11 a.m., and all-day happy hour that includes $4 rail drinks, $5 glasses of wine, and $3 off signature cocktails.
