Cinco de Mayo and Taco Tuesday Collide for Deals and Freebies!

It's the moment we've all been waiting for: Cinco de Mayo on a Taco Tuesday! If only we could enjoy our tacos while sitting shoulder to shoulder with our friends at our favorite Mexican restaurant, but alas, Coronavirus. Ack. 

But let's focus on the positive! Even though we can't dine out, many of our fave eateries are still offering plenty of deals and freebies to take-out so we can celebrate Cindo de Mayo at home. And with the way the economy is struggling right now, this is a great way to support your local restaurants while saving some cash at the same time.

So, break out the margaritas and grab your sombrero because the fiesta is on this Tuesday! Feliz Cinco de Mayo! Feliz Tacos!

Baja Fresh. Pre-order your Cinco de Mayo Family Meal from Baja Fresh by Monday, May 4 and use code BAJAFRESH to save $10 off your $50 online purchase. Family meals include your choice of one entree - 5 Quesadillas, 10 Tacos or 5 Baja Burritos, and one side - Baja Ensalada or Baja Rice & Black or Pinto Beans, plus chips and 2 Signature Salsas to share.

bartaco. Celebrate Cinco de Mayo, Bartaco-style by pre-order a special Cinco kit by May 4 for takeout, curbside pick-up or delivery. Kits include two taco fillings (makes 16 tacos), three sides, salsa verde and chips. You can gt meat or veggie options, with our without margaritas, for $38-$65. Orders must be placed before the end of day May 4 and will be ready for pick-up at your designated time on May 5.

Chipotle. Free Queso Blanco with the purchase of a regular-priced entrĂ©e on May 5 and free delivery through May 10 on orders of $10 or more via the Chipotle app and Chiptole.com. Use promo code QUESO55 at checkout for your free Queso Blanco. 

Chuy's. Chuy's has launched Cinco de Mayo - Home Edition this year with suggestions for bringing the Chuy's party home on May 5, including ordering one of their new fajita, taco, enchiladas, or nacho kits. Chuy's is also offering some drink specials to go, which you can pair with their limited-edition $20 Cinco Party Kit that includes two Chuy's branded 18oz Texas Martini shakers and other fun swag.

District Taco. The Washington, D.C.-based chain is offering a Shelter de Mayo Fajita Fiesta Feast, a huge combo meal that feeds five and is available on May 5 only at participating locations. The Feast includes steak fajitas with sides of lettuce, cheese, pico de gallo, plus 15 tortillas and two large chips and signature dips for $55.

Guapo's. The Washington, D.C.-area family-owned restaurant chain is offering a special Cinco de Mayo fiesta kit, complete with Guapo's Margaritas. Call your closest Guapo's location to pre-order and for price information.

Jack in the Box. Two free tacos with any $15 minimum purchase, valid from May 5 through May 10.

Moe's Southwest Grill. Comedian Aaron Chewning will be throwing a Cinco de Mayo party on Moe's Instagram Live on May 5. During the party, Moe's will be giving away free t-shirts, taco kits, burritos and more. Moe's has also launched a new neighborhood market for the community to stock up on freshly prepared protein, sides, and dips, as well as a new build-your-own taco kit.

On the Border. Feed the entire fam on Tuesday for just $25! On the Border is offering a "Cinco in a Bag" deal for pick-up only on May 5. This special includes ten soft or crispy seasoned ground beef tacos topped with lettuce, cheese and tomato, which is served with Mexican rice, choice of beans, a bowl of queso and chips and salsa.

Taco Bamba. Taco Bamba is bringing Cinco de Mayo to you, complete with four margarita bamberas, their heat and eat build-a-taco kit is the perfect way to celebrate. Available to order online from Taco Bamba's Fairfax, Vienna and Springfield, Virginia locations.

Taco Bell. Just in time for Cinco de Mayo, Taco Bell has unveiled an At Home Taco Bar, which serves a party of 6 and includes 8 flour tortillas, 12 Crunchy Taco shells, 6 oz. of nacho chips, seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, refried beans, nacho cheese sauce, cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, reduced-fat sour cream, Hot Sauce packets and napkins - all for just $25. The Bar comes deconstructed, packed and sealed and is available via delivery and contactless drive-thrus nationwide starting Friday, May 1, for a limited time.
