The dinner hour, amirite? It really has come to be the bane of parental existence, as these kiddos expect to be fed every night. The nerve! This one wants buttered noodles but that one wants breakfast for dinner. If you try to please everyone, you ultimately become a short order cook. And don't even get me started on how hungry they are when they get home from school.

That's why creations like Brazi Bites are heaven sent when it comes to making your life as a parent easier. I love that they are bite-sized. They're perfect for a post-school playdate snack. And there are five flavors, so there's something for even the pickiest of eaters. Or is there? I decided to put my kids and some of their buddies to the test.

As you can tell, my daughter was pretty excited when our Brazi Bites taste testing box arrived.

The best part for me was how easy they were to make. I just threw them in the oven for 20 minutes and they were done! My advice: Don't overcook them, as the overall consensus is that they are more delicious when they are soft.

Just by chance, we had a very mixed bag when it came to what these kids liked. One is a vegetarian. One is the pickiest eater I've ever encountered. And I like to joke that my son could eat dog food!

Their initial reaction was they all wanted the cinnamon and cheese. Typical! We were all a bit surprised by how much they ended up loving the chicken and cheese empanadas. 

We tried the following, all of which are gluten-free, which is awesome!

* Empanadas - Bean & Cheddar
* Empanadas - Chicken & Cheese
* Empanadas - Beef & Bean
* Cinnamon Churro
* Cheddar & Parmesan

As you can see by the video, they all loved their options...giggling notwithstanding. My own kids asked that I keep these coming, so I'll be stocking my freezer with Brazi Bites.

If you know anything about kids, you're likely not surprised to hear that Cinnamon Churro was by the far the biggest hit with ALL the kids (and, quite frankly, by me!). I think it would make for a great pass-around dessert if you are having a party.
