National Taco Day 2020: Freebies & Deals on October 4th

Beef, carnitas, chicken, fish or veggie, who doesn't love a good taco? Pair it with a cold beer or margarita and some chips and guac on the side, and .... YUM.
Any day that includes free tacos is a great day in our book! Sunday, October 4th is that day, my friends, it's National Taco Day!
Check out our list of restaurants, taco shops and food retailers around the country that are getting into the National Taco Day celebration with some spicy deals, freebies and specials. We will add more as we hear about them, so keep checking back!

bartaco: Just in time for National Taco Day, bartaco is bringing back a fan favorite, the roasted brussels sprouts taco as the next #bartacosecret taco from October 4 - December 7 and donating $1 for every one sold to No Kid Hungry. The roasted brussels sprouts taco features roasted honey chipotle glazed brussels sprouts served on a bed of spicy curry carrot puree and garnished with sweet and spicy candied pepitas and pickled onions. Available for take out at order.bartaco.com or the bartaco app, as well as dine-in at all of bartaco's open locations.
Chronic Tacos: This California-inspired Mexican grill is giving away one free taco to all loyalty members on October 4th. You must download the Chronic Tacos app and create your account by October 2nd to qualify. On National Taco Day, all loyalty members will be sent a free taco through the 'Rewards' section of the app that is redeemable on October 4th only. Offer includes chicken, carnitas, al pastor, and veggie tacos only. Offer excludes fish, shrimp, steak and Beyond Beef tacos.

Chuy's: On Sunday, October 4, add a crispy beef taco to any dine-in entree purchase for just $1! Chuy's is also offering $5 shots of 1800 Silver (or equivalent) top-shelf tequila and $1 floaters for dine-in customers to top their favorite margarita. Feel more comfortable dining at home? Del Taco: Customers can receive a FREE The Del Taco with any purchase from Saturday, October 3 through Sunday, October 4 via The Del App. Valid with coupon only. October 4th also kicks off Tacoberfest® at Del Taco, a month-long celebration of free tacos every Saturday, redeemable through the app.

Taco Bamba: October 4th is a BAMBATHON at Taco Bamba! All five Taco Bamba locations (Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C.) will race to see who can sell the most tacos. Each location that serves 1,000 tacos on October 4th will donate $1,000 to World Central Kitchen to support emergency relief efforts in the Bahamas. Guests can follow the official BAMBATHON Tracker throughout the day on Instagram.

Taco Bell: On National Taco Day, Taco Bell is launching Taco Gifter, the brand's new taco e-gifting service, allowing fans to gift tacos via the Taco Bell app or website. To kick off the National Taco Day celebration, Taco Bell is also giving away a free taco to gift for the first 10,000 people who use Taco Gifter - keep tabs on Taco Bell's Twitter page to find out when those free tacos are available. To send a taco, fans can download the Taco Bell app and find the platform in the Menu or visit tacobell.com/gifter.

Taco Dumbo: New York's favorite market-fresh taqueria and margarita bar is celebrating National Taco Day with FREE TACOS for the first 300 people in select New York neighborhoods - shown HERE - who text the Taco Dumbo Hotline (646-768-8218) between 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on October 4th. All you need to do is text your name, address and dietary requirements and Taco Dumbo will randomly select two tacos from their taco menu to be delivered (free of charge!) to the address you provided. Taco Dumbo will also be offering exclusive taco-inspired menu items in store.
