Are your kids ready for a camp with endless activity options? This camp is perfect for the kid who loves sports one day, crafts the next and having a TON of fun!  Camp Stonewall is a co-ed sleepaway camp nestled on the Marianapolis Prep School campus in Connecticut. They offer 45+ daily activities in athletics, drama, music, dance, and visual arts. Their community values promote independence, flexibility, and character among all of their campers and staff.   Camp Stonewall serves kids entering grades 2-10. Here's what makes Camp Stonewall one of a kind: Stonewall attracts campers and staff from the United States and from around the globe. This diverse community experience empowers every camper to learn more about their world - from right here at camp. When it comes to activities, it's totally up to the kids! Each camper chooses what he or she wants to do every day. Whether it's kayaking, friendship bracelets, improv, hip hop, baseball, or gymnastics, campers at Camp Stonewall get to try it all.  In the evenings, the whole camp comes together for unforgettable special events and activities. Stonewall staff encourages each child to try new things in the spirit of creativity and healthy competition. Campers are grouped in bunks by grade and gender and live right down the hall from their counselors. Camp Stonewall believes that this comfortable, nurturing environment allows kids to adapt quickly to being away from home so they can take full advantage of the freedom and responsibilities fostered at sleepaway camp. Participants can come for 1 to 7 weeks as well as join SWAT Adventure Travel Trips (Stonewall Adventure Trips) throughout New England. SWAT trips are included in all of the camp week deals over one week. SWAT Trips are weekend trips that take campers and staff across four states to experience fun activities. Campers can choose among 4-6 activities for each adventure weekend. Examples for 2020   include: canopy tours, amusement parks, ice skating, go-karts, zip lining, professional baseball, and more. Campers stay offsite in a hotel for the first night, and return to campus for the second night, though the third day still includes plenty of off-campus travel! Some camp weeks end on Sunday and are "non-SWAT" weekends. These great weekends include travel, too! All campers and staff go to Watch Hill's famous Carousel Beach for a day of play in the ocean. That evening, campers will return to campus and enjoy a popcorn-fest movie night at the campus theater. As you can see, there is PLENTY of fun to be had at Camp Stonewall. From activities to adventures, there is something for every kind of kid here!
